Levelling Up Your AI Skills – Claire and Greta

  • October 28, 2025October 28, 2025
  • by Claire

Ever wondered if you’re missing out on some easy AI hacks?

We were both surprised recently to read the results of some research we’d conducted with senior executives about their AI usage to see that most people are barely scratching the surface of what these tools can do. That’s prompted us to create this episode bringing you a practical guide to the techniques that actually make a big difference.

We’re sharing the most powerful techniques and hacks we’ve discovered after constant AI use and refinement. These aren’t theoretical concepts or beginner basics, they’re the strategies and simple steps that can transform how effectively you work with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Co Pilot.

In this episode, we reveal four separate and easy approaches that will upgrade your AI outputs immediately. Don’t worry, you won’t need to spend hours learning or implementing any of these hacks.

For example, you’ll discover how to get AI to do the heavy lifting on prompts themselves (yes, really), and learn a great way to tackle repetitive tasks with ease, avoiding re-inventing the wheel time and time again.

Some of the techniques you’ll hear about include:

  • The metaprompting technique that can save hours of prompt refinement
  • How Projects, Gems, GPTs and Custom Co Pilots may turbo-charge your productivity
  • A step by step explanation of how you can set up these tools, and
  • Exactly how AI was used to help generate some of the copy you’re reading now.

Whether you’re already comfortable with AI or still finding your feet, we’re confident that at least one of these techniques will help you level up your own AI skills and outcomes.

Listen now for practical and real examples of how these techniques work in action to help you work smarter with AI.

  • by Claire

Can you imagine spending two decades working in a field you’re totally passionate about and then having an expert friend tell you that within 6 months AI would likely make your career redundant?

Well that’s exactly what happened to our guest this week, Anneli Knight.

Anneli is a strategic writing consultant, author and journalist. She regularly runs workshops helping executives write more effectively with her business, Eloquence Consulting.

Writing isn’t just Anneli’s profession but her passion, so since that conversation with her friend, she’s been on quite the rollercoaster journey coming to terms with the reality of what AI does and what it means, not just for her own business but for all people wanting to write using Gen AI.

Anneli is very candid as she shares with us her journey of confronting a future shaped by AI, as well as the key learnings from her extensive experimentation with AI as a tool.

In this episode we cover:

  • Anneli’s initial reaction to her friend’s blunt message and what she did next
  • The “three sets of three sleepless nights” she experienced while wrestling with what AI means for writers
  • Practical techniques for working effectively with AI for writing without sacrificing your authentic voice
  • Creative ways to use voice mode in ChatGPT to accelerate the writing you need to do, and . . .
  • The limitations and ethical questions around the use of AI when it comes to creative writing.

This episode shares invaluable practical tips to improve your AI-supported writing including insightful advice on how to craft effective prompts.

And, needless to say, Anneli has reworked what she teaches business executives!

If you need to write anything in your day job then you’ll love this conversation. So enjoy this episode with the passionate and thoughtful Anneli Knight.

How To Episode

How to Build Your Network

  • September 22, 2020
  • by Claire

This week’s episode is one of our ‘How To’ episodes and we’re covering that sometimes awkward topic of networking.

One of our guests has described your network as your ‘net worth’ and while that may be an exaggeration, there’s no doubt who you know can really make a difference to opportunities that may come your way. Particularly if you’re in the position of wanting to change industries or jobs.

Of course, building your network during COVID can be a little bit trickier and we talk about this during the episode.

You’ll also hear tips and advice on:

  • How to nurture and maintain your existing network
  • What we (Claire and Greta) actually say and do when we’re ‘networking’
  • How we approach it to take the awkwardness away
  • And how to think about growing your network to help your career goals.

So if you’re contemplating a career change, or have neglected your network this year, then this is the episode for you! If you know someone who is looking for a job or to change careers, then why not share this with them now. Enjoy!
