NAIL your 2026 Planning

  • January 13, 2026January 13, 2026
  • by Claire

Happy New Year to you dear listener!

Have you ever felt that familiar January anxiety either because you’re feeling guilty that you don’t have a perfect set of goals for the new year or because you’re second-guessing if your goals are ambitious enough, structured enough, or even the right ones? If that’s you then this episode is for you. (Happens to us every year!)

They say it takes one to know one 😂so as 2026 began, we both wanted to help ourselves (and hopefully help you too) get the year off to a great start.

We got busy on our laptops and in this episode, we share our personal experiments where we used AI to reflect on 2025, as well as help us set meaningful goals for the year ahead.

We road-tested ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

The results were super interesting . . . and helpful. One model delivered a remarkably accurate summary of Greta’s entire year (likely because she’d used it most consistently), while another coached Claire through building a custom Project that will track her goals throughout 2026.

In this episode we discuss:

  • The tension between letting AI lead your thinking versus using it as a thought partner
  • How to set up an AI project (or GPT, Gem etc.)  that coaches you through goal-setting
  • How you can quickly create vision boards and mind maps, and . . .
  • How AI may just change how you frame and think about your entire year.

Whether you’re a seasoned AI user or just getting started, listen now for  practical approaches you can try out right away.

Wishing you an intentional, productive and fulfilling 2026!

How To Be Heard

  • by Claire

We’ve all been there, sitting in that meeting trying to get our point across and becoming infuriated because someone we work with repeatedly ignores what we say in meetings.

Being heard at work isn’t as simple as just speaking up. Research shows that particularly if you’re a woman or a minority it’s harder to have your ideas, your comments and contributions acknowledged and accepted.

But there are things we can do to help overcome the challenges we sometimes face and in this episode Claire and Greta take you through numerous ways you can improve your influence at work and ensure your messages and communications are landing as well as they can.

They look at tactics and tools you can use before, during and after important meetings, plus share stories from some of the most senior guests we’ve had on the show including a member of the House of Lords in the UK and the President of a large global health business.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • When, and with whom, Claire typically finds it difficult to be heard
  • How to piggyback off someone else in a meeting when you’re having trouble finding the moment to speak
  • Why you have to stand up for yourself
  • And, an important meeting tactic everyone should use.

This episode is jam packed with tips and tools that can help us all increase our influence, and that we use regularly. If you know someone who’s complained of not being heard at work then why not share this episode with them as well.

Enjoy!

Planning your 2022? Claire and Greta Jam their Plans

  • January 24, 2022January 24, 2022
  • by Claire

Our first episode for 2022 explores different ways of thinking about your year ahead.  You’ll hear us have a candid and informal conversation about how we’re individually thinking about our own plans and aspirations, and how to make them happen.

You may be surprised at just how different our approaches are!

You’ll learn why Greta thinks getting really granular with her time management is what she needs this year to reach her goals, while Claire is focusing on her key priorities and planning around those.

We plan to make more conversational and ‘unplugged’ episodes like this one so please let us know what you think or if you disagree! We always love to hear from you.

P.S. If you’re really hungry for more content on planning your year then also check out our episode from 2020 called How to Have a Great Year.

Kat Dunn – Making Tough Career Decisions to be…

  • February 26, 2019
  • by admin

If we had to summarise what our guest this week is all about, we’d say she’s about reinvention and being true to herself. And for 35 year old Kat Dunn, that meant abandoning a successful corporate career.

Born in the Philippines, Kat had been climbing the corporate ladder at an impressive rate in Australia, first of all as a lawyer and then in a variety of roles in financial services. But she was deeply unhappy.

One day she said “Enough” and took radical action. In this episode we explore exactly how and why she did this and how she feels about her new career now, several years down the track.

Today Kat is CEO of Grameen in Australia, part of the global not for profit organisation founded by the Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus.

In this frank and heartfelt episode you’ll hear:

  • What it’s like growing up Asian in an almost all white country town in Western Australia
  • How Kat started out as a consummate planner and then realised that just wasn’t working
  • How she confronted failure head-on and even made a business out of it
  • And, how she’s never felt more secure despite earning 50% less than she used to.

Enjoy this episode with the wise-beyond-her-years, Kat Dunn.
